Some of the medicine drips out when I take MIACALCIN Nasal Spray. Should I be concerned about this? |
I can understand why you would be concerned. But when you spray MIACALCIN Nasal Spray in your nose, the medication coats the inside of your nose and is absorbed into your bloodstream. If a little drips out, you are still getting the benefit from your medication. You may want to make sure that you are inserting the tip of the pump unit into your nostril correctly. Just make sure the tip of the nozzle is in your nostril far enough to allow the spray to coat the inside of your nose. If you are still worried about some of the medication dripping out of your nose, you should contact your healthcare provider.
